What do the ones in bold indicate?
Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer airs on CBS Dec. 2
Everything I see indicates a week later, Tuesday December 9. http://wiat.com/2014/11/26/holiday-programming-schedule-for-cbs/
Those are just some of the highlights for that day, to highlight them so they don't get lost in the dozens of cheesy movies on Hallmark and Lifetime.
Rob, love the page and definitely the holdings for well known movies. I'm going to share this page on my blog with full credit. Hopefully bring you over some more well deserved traffic. Any word on Garfield? It's become increasingly difficult to find each year and I can't find anything for it now. Also I know Frosty was yesterday. Any word on another showing?
Thanks Steve! The only Garfield Christmas show on the schedule is on Boomerang on Thursday 12/11, as updated on the site. Just the new Garfield Show, not the classic Christmas special. I'm sure they will air it, just not in the next 2 weeks, which is what I have visibility to.
You need to add Michael Buble's 4th Annual Christmas Special on NBC, 12/17 @ 8:00pm I think. (Check on the time.)
Found it and added it. Thanks! http://www.nbc.com/michael-bubles-christmas-in-new-york
What about Elf on the Shelf
Don't see it listed yet. Even on CBS's Holiday schedule: http://www.cbs.com/shows/holiday_central/schedule/ . When I see it, I will add it.
Awesome job!!! Thank you so much for all your hard work. Makes my life so much easier, lol.
Thank you! Glad you enjoy it. That's why I started it, so I knew when my favorite shows would be on. Might as well share it with everyone. 🙂
I too would like to thank you for all your hard work. TVguide.com used to something like this years ago, but they've gotten lax with it. I know that Cartoon Network and Boomerang have a lot of programs closer to Christmas. Is it safe to assume that when you find shows on any channel, you post them here?
Please don't ever quit doing this blog, I love it!!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy it. Yes, as soon as shows are listed, I will post them here. Always look forward to the Christmas shows on Cartoon Network and Boomerang. Especially the classics I remember as a kid, like Pac-Man Christmas and Smurfs.
Thank you for this list. It's fantastic! And I'm with "Steve" from November 29th about the Garfield Christmas Special. What's Christmas without Binky the Clown? 🙂 Maybe it can be streamed online somewhere. Thanks again.
Thanks! I'm sure the Garfield special will air soon. Usually on Boomerang. When I see it, I'll add it to the list, and comment here about it.
Have you seen a listing for the animated grinch yet?
It aired a few times in Nov on TBS, but nothing else is showing up. I'm sure it will air several times in Dec, but surprised it's not showing for the next 2 weeks. I'll add it when I see it.
Thanks for listing these! (My other site was incorrect so often I couldnt use it anymore)
Are you going to be adding the ION movies to the list?
http://www.iontelevision.com/holiday-movies
Yes, I add ION movies as I see them listed in various weekly listings. Didn't know about that site, thanks!
What a blessing…..now I'll never miss my favorite Christmas shows and movies Very kind of you to go to all the trouble!! Merry Christmas Rob !!!
Anyone see twas the night before Christmas 1974 cartoon rakin and bass
Thank you! Merry Christmas to you too!
Little Women with Winona Ryder, Christian Bale is my favorite! If you find it showing, will you post it or e-mail me at stephaniedarnell@gmail.com? 🙂 🙂
Yep, will definitely post here when I see it. As of right now, the only version published so far is the 1933 version on Christmas Day.
Finally popped up with an airing on Cartoon Network on Saturday 12/20 at 11:30am Eastern.
Thanks much will be watching the 50 anniversary of Rudolph tonight at 8pm in Green Bay Wisconsin. Thanks Rob.
Dec. 25th–8:30 AM
May be on earlier in the season, but that's the only airing I noticed–one of my family's favorites
Right on Katie!
What a great surprise to find your blog ….. a million thanks. Do you know if THE CHRISTMAS GIFT with John Denver will be aired again during the evening hours? Thanks again for your kindness and sharing.
The next airtimes are: 12/16 3pm, 12/17 3am, 12/24 1am, and 12/24 9am. Nothing in the evening, unless you're Pacific time, then the 1am airing would be 10pm.
It's a wonderful life, Sunday the 14 8pm on USA
Good catch! Just added it. For the last several years, airing had been limited to NBC just twice a year.
'Carol For Another Christmas' is a very obscure version of A Christmas Carol. Shown originally in 1964 and never again until last year's one TCM airing. This season make just the 3rd time it's ever aired. With Sterling Hayden, Peter Sellers this unique take on the story is a must see for us Christmas fanatics. Thanks for this awesome listing!
Thank you for doing this!! Merry Christmas!
What a terrific list! Thank you! Wishing you, and yours, the merriest of Christmases and the happiest of new years!
Thanks
Hi Rob. Thank you for doing this. My wife watches non-stop Christmas shows from before Thanksgiving until Christmas Day (or beyond)! It would be nice if you set up a PayPal "Donate" button so that we could help offset some of your costs and reward you in some way for your efforts. Thanks again!
Bret, thank you for the kind words. I have taken your advice and added a Donate button at the top right of the page. This is a labor of love for me, but if someone is kind enough to donate a token of appreciation, I guess I wouldn't mind. 🙂 Never expected though. Merry Christmas, Rob
Wow, I didn't know its airing was so rare. Glad I was able to include it so people know when to find it.
You're welcome, Erin. Merry Christmas to you!
Thanks Scottie! Merry Christmas!
Hi Rob. I tried it out and the donate button just took me to my account summary on PayPal. Please double check the setup. Clicking on the button should take me to a PayPal page where I can specify an amount and just click send. As an alternative, I guess you could provide your PayPal email address that accepts payments, but it's safer the other way. Thanks, Bret
Oops, looks like the text I added above the button messed things up. It should work now, and thanks for your support!
Rob
Thanks! Awesome job!!!
I'd like to add my thanks to the others here. I love watching holiday shows and movies and your listing really made it easy for me to find my favorites and discover new treats. Thank you very much for your time and hard work.
Once again the didn't show the Christmas Carol with George C. Scott ! That's the best one made… ugh

I just found your blog! Lucky me!! Thank you for doing this. Do you know if THE CHRISTMAS GIFT with John Denver will be aired again in the evening hours? Thanks again for your kindness and sharing. It is much appreciated.
Thanks Rob. I will be watching the 50th anniversary of Rudolph the red nosed reindeer tonight in Green Bay Wisconsin.
This page has been my saving Grace!!! Thank You for creating it.. Now If I miss one of my favorite Holiday Classic Shows/Movies its because I didn't check here and set the DVR to record it.. But at this point I've got a whooooole lotsa stuff recording for the next 12 days 😀 😀 😀 (Ps. I hope one of these stations don't forget about "Annabelle's Wish! Cause it's not on the list yet! 🙁 )
I'm glad you enjoy the schedule! It's still early. Look for more kids cartoons like that to start airing later in Dec.
